Stories From The Fire
On completely separate sides of the world—Jeremia in Finland, Zoe in the States—my now husband and I had both become involved with the TheosU family. As many good love stories go, it was actually a meme that crossed our paths officially in the fall of 2023.
Many times we had both found someone could check “Christian” on their profile or claim the title but lacked a hunger for knowledge and a sincerity of faith necessary for a Godly marriage. They say “when you know, you know”—and we truly experienced that.
After 6 months of dating and 8 months of engagement long distance, we were married and God quickly blessed our marriage with twins. Our son Roman was born into the arms of Jesus, and we now live in Finland raising our son Augustine. There is so much we could share about God’s grace in our story but we want to say thank God for TheosU!

After mutual friends in the Theos community insisted we needed to meet, one of them called Corné and simply said, “I found your wife,” before hanging up and refusing to elaborate.
A week later we finally met over a Theos Nights class, and despite living more than 8,000 miles apart on different continents, we’ve spoken every day since that night. Today we’re married, and we’re so grateful that God used Theos not only to deepen our theological education, but also to bring us together.
