Ministry

Track 2 : Holy Saints - Every intern is placed in a Holy Saints ministry role.

In addition to their TheosU role, every intern is placed in one of the Holy Saints ministry departments. This is where church ministry happens firsthand, with real responsibility, real people, and real accountability to pastoral staff. Placement is based on gifting, calling, and availability, though leadership may encourage or adjust based on an intern’s growth across the year.

Go Where You’re Needed:

Pastoral | Kids Ministry | Admin & Events | Creative | Worship | Production

Pastoral

Interns in the Pastoral department learn the ministry of care from the inside. This placement covers prayer ministry, pastoral care, operating in the gifts of the Spirit, and learning to shepherd people through difficulty and growth. It is the most formation-intensive placement in the program.

Kids Ministry

Interns in Kids Ministry work on both the curriculum and the room. That means contributing to curriculum creation, preparing materials, and implementing ministry on Sundays. This placement develops teaching ability, discipline in preparation, and the particular skill of communicating Scripture to children.

Admin & Events

Interns in Admin and Events carry the operational backbone of Holy Saints. This includes logistics, coordination, and execution for Sunday services and special events. The placement develops organizational discipline, attention to detail, and the ministry of creating environments where people can encounter God.

Creative

Interns in the Creative department work across the visual and written expression of Holy Saints — design, writing, communications, songwriting, photography, filming, and the creative output of the church. This placement develops creative skill in a ministry context, with direct application to how the church presents itself and communicates its mission.

Worship

Interns in the Worship department are musicians, vocalists, or worship leaders in development. This placement covers leading and participating in gathered worship, theological formation around the sacramental and liturgical life of the church, and the practice of worship as a pastoral act. On the practical side, interns develop real skills in set list building, music direction, band leading, and the week-to-week rhythms of preparing a congregation to encounter God. Worship at Holy Saints is theologically serious and musically excellent, and interns in this track are expected to grow in both.

Production

Interns in Production run the technical side of Holy Saints services and events — audio, video, lighting, and ProPresenter. This placement develops technical excellence as a form of ministry, learning to serve the room so that the service itself is unhindered. That means running front-of-house sound, managing video capture and recording workflows, operating cameras and lighting rigs, and building the kind of consistency that makes Sunday feel seamless week after week.
